I try to stay up on trends but this is one trend that I have to admit I wish would just disappear.I just don't get it. I feel that you need to look like Kate Moss for skinny jeans to actually look good and flattering. I have seen so many attempt to pull this trend off and ended up looking like an complete fashion disaster! I feel that they shorten the silhoutte on most making them not flattering.

What I really can't grasp is that I also see guys wearing skinny jeans! Too me that is not attractive at all! Huge turn off!

Trends will come and go. Hopefully this is one that will soon be gone and not quick to repeat itself.

I personal cant wear skinny jeans unless they are Levis because I am on the chunky side.

I totally hear you! Everytime I go shopping for jeans the sales associate always tries to get me to try on skinny jeans and I think they make me look heavier than I am. One would think they would look ok because I have long legs and an short torso, but I actually feel that they make my legs look shorter or something.

i totally agree with you on the skinny jeans, i started noticing this trend was coming back a few years ago, i want to say it was around the time one of the ramones died.  Back in the punk days of the late 70's and early 80's a lot of the bands especially the Ramones wore the skinny jeans.  i dont remember which one died, but shortly after he died i noticed a lot of people suddenly had an interest in them, such as my cousin who was 14 at the time.  I went to pick him up for a concert and he was wearing skinny jeans and a ramones shirt.  I think eventually it has made its way into the main stream and hopefully wont be around too long.  all skinny jeans are good for is forming a quality muffin top! :)

Maybe they thought if they wore skinny jeans it would affect their voice? As you know no-one needs help with muffin tops!
